Roopa was the alpha female of Hema’s first litter. Her Dad is Zeus from Misty Mountain Labradors ( GCH CH Gingerbred Celestial Thunder). Since Hema was very calm, we wanted a challenge and Roopa fit our needs very well. Being extraordinarily active and playful she soaked a lot if energy from our growing sons out of which emerged pure joy. A desired by-product was lots of sleep for all concerned. Roopa loves to run and fetch at every possible opportunity. She got along fabulously with the next litter that came along and her best buddy was Palmer. Roopa obeys orders in 2 languages and is trying to learn a third too.

“Roopa” is derived from Sanskrit. In current usage is means “Beautiful “. From ancient times, Roopa has been added to form compound words to give a greater meaning. Important examples are “Vishwaroopa” and “Vishwaroopa” and “Rupakandha”.
